Join NYSSSWA Western Region at the Pearl Street Grill and Brewery for its Spring Luncheon which will feature a presentation on “Holistic Discipline Diversion and Intervention” by Carolyn Hite, MAT, JD.
“In New York State schools disproportionately impose out of school suspensions on marginalized students, even though there is no evidence that these student violate Codes of Conduct at higher rates. We will explore the unmet educational, behavioral/mental health, immigration, housing, etc. needs of our students and develop holistic intervention plans. ”
