9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. “Intimate Partner Violence Risk & Lethality Assessment: Implications for Women’s Safety” by Jacquelyn Campbell, Ph.D., RN (1 Contact Hour)

10:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m.   (2.0 Contact hours)  Participants will receive training and certification for  “The Danger Assessment” a tool used by law enforcement, health care professionals and domestic violence advocates.

2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. “The Judicial Perspective in a Domestic Violence Court” by the Hon. John Michael Leventhal (1 Contact Hour)

4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. “Domestic Violence & Lethality in our Community” by PANEL (1 Contact Hour)

CEUs:

Earn up to 7.5 CEUs. $30  Register for CEUs Only with NYSSSWA  HERE

Late Fee:  Add $5 after November 7, 2019

You MUST register for the conference separately prior to registering for CEUs.

New York State School Social Workers’ Association is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board of Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0057

In order to receive CEUs, you must register and pay, sign in and sign out as well as complete the Workshop Evaluations.  Certificates are released individually so will not be available prior to verification of all components is complete.  Since this is a multi-step manual procedure, please allow time for processing.

CEU Only Cancellation Policy:  There will be a $10 administrative fee for any cancellations. This must be in the form of an email sent to Member.services@nyssswa.org     There will be no refunds after November 6, 2019.
