The New York State School Social Workers’ Association would like to invite you to our 2023 State Conference which will be held at the beautiful Sagamore Resort on Lake George beginning on Thursday, November 2 to Friday, November 3, 2023. Reserve these dates. Start talking to your districts. Reserve your hotel room–but note cancellation policies below. We will let you know when conference registration will be open and hope you will plan to join us. If you want to start planning with your district, you can use last year’s 2022 Registration Rates as a guide for possible expenses.

This is your opportunity to submit a proposal to be part of the 58th School Social Work State Conference which is sponsored by the New York State School Social Workers’ Association. Room Rate: Starting at $119 a night.
Resort Fee: $10 per room, per night. “The Resort fee includes access to two (2) bottles of water in your room daily, complimentary coffee daily, wireless internet in guest rooms and public areas, no charge for local and 1-800 calls, entrance into the Fitness Center, indoor/outdoor pools and waterfront, self or valet parking, island and Golf Club Shuttle.”

Hotel Policies: IMPORTANT–Please Read.
Deposit Fees: A credit card is required to confirm each guestroom reservation. A non-refundable $50.00 processing fee will be charged at time of booking. The balance of the stay will be charged to this card fourteen (14) days prior to the arrival date.
Room Cancellation: “Should the reservation be cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival, the $50.00 processing fee will be forfeited. If the cancellation is made fourteen (14) days or less from arrival, the total amount will be forfeited. In the event you do not arrive on the [above] arrival date, your reservation will be cancelled and the amount collected will be forfeited at that time. Please note that once the NYSSSWA hotel block is filled, conference rates may no longer apply.
Check In/Check Out Times: Check-in time is 4:00 PM, checkout time is 11:00 AM. All guests arriving before check-in time will be accommodated as rooms become available.
