Topic:  “Exploring the Impact of Medications on Students in the Academic Environment”  by Dr. Dori Marshall, MD.  Earn up to 2 Continuing Education hours.

Description:  In this talk we will review the common presentations in school of ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, and Depressive Disorders. For each, we will review evidence-based models of management, including the most commonly used medications, indications, how they work, common side effects. Questions – including case-based questions – will be encouraged.

Dori Marshall, MD is the chief medical officer of Oishei Children’s Hospital of Buffalo. She is a board-certified psychiatrist who has spent the majority of her career caring for adolescents in an acute care psychiatric setting at the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC). Dr. Marshall graduated both medical school and residency from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo. She is an associate professor of psychiatry and has held several leadership roles including medical director of ECMC’s Adolescent Psychiatry Unit, director of inpatient psychiatry and associate chief of service at ECMC, president of the UBMD Governing Board, and associate dean and director of medical admissions at the Jacobs School of Medicine.

Non-Members:  $60

Cancellation Policy:  There will be a $10 cancellation fee to cover the administrative costs associated with refunding your conference/registration fee for any cancellations prior to  January 16, 2026. This must be in the form of an email sent to  Member.services@nyssswa.org.  After January 16 there will be no refunds.

  2.   Sign in and Sign out at the event

Certificates are released individually so will not be available prior to verification of all components is complete. Since this is a multi-step manual procedure, please allow time for processing.
