“Partnerships in Social Work Education”

The New York City Department of Education’s Office of Counseling Support Programs, Fordham University Graduate School of Social Service and the New York State School Social Workers’ Association (NYSSSWA) are proud to announce the New York City Department of Education’s third annual School Social Worker Conference “Partnerships in Social Work Education” on March 6, 2018 at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center Campus from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Partnerships between the DOE, universities, and professional organizations strengthen the social work profession and benefit the children and families served. Topics for the day will include foster children in the public school system, the opioid crisis, and the benefits of MSW internships with the DOE. Awards will be given and school social workers will be celebrated.
Fordham University will be offering 4 FREE CEHs for this event. A light breakfast will be served. Lunch on your own.
