2026 National School Social Work Conference
March 24 – 27, 2026
The New York State School Social Workers’ Association has again partnered with the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) to provide up to 18.5 CEs for SSWAA’s 2026 National Conference which will be held March 24 – 27, 2026 at the St. Louis Union Station Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri. In order to receive New York approved CEs, you will need to register with SSWAA for the conference AND register with NYSSSWA for the CEs.

NYSSSWA Continuing Education Fees: 
NYSSSWA Member CE/CEU Rate: $35. (Covers all 4 days!)
NYSSSWA Non-Member CE/CEU Rate: $65 (Covers all 4 days!)
Late Fee: Add $10 after March 6, 2026
Session Selections: Be sure to register with SSWAA for admittance to various sessions you would like. NYSSSWA session selections are for CEs only and can be adjusted later if you attend a different session.

New York Approved CEs/CEUs Process:
- You MUST register with SSWAA for the actual conference.
- In order to get New York approved CEs/CEUs, you MUST ALSO register with NYSSSWA
- Complete payment with NYSSSWA.
- Sign in and out for each session via SSWAA’s conference app.
- Complete all New York Session evaluations which as a New York attendee you will be connected to via SSWAA’s conference app (Results at Hand/Conference Beat) once NYSSSWA has received payment.
- Once all of the above components are completed, you will be able to obtain your CE Certificate via SSWAA’s conference app (Results at Hand/Conference Beat).

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations and refund requests must be in writing before March 6, 2026. There is a $10.00 cancellation fee to cover the administrative costs associated with refunding your CE registration fee. This must be in the form of an email sent to Member.services@nyssswa.org. After March 6, 2026 there will be no refunds.
Submitting a Purchase Order?
When submitting fees to your district for a Purchase Order, be sure to include both SSWAA’s Registration Fee AND NYSSSWA’s Fee as part of your expenses. When you REGISTER, also be sure to send your Business Office a copy of your invoice which you can access from the left hand upper corner at “Checkout”.
Approved Continuing Education Provider: New York State School Social Workers’ Association is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board of Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #SW-0057
Why is there a Fee? The New York State Education Department (NYSED) has very specific criteria that must be met in order for a presentation to be approved as well as for the release of CE/CEU Certificates. As a result, a lot of time is required to thoroughly vet all sessions, prepare individualized evaluations per NY requirements as well as process CEs/CEUs in order to be in compliance with NYSED. Due to these administrative costs, it is necessary for NYSSSWA to charge for the provision of New York CEs/CEUs.
