We have received requests for assistance with 2 surveys.  Please take some time to contribute to the research regarding the important work that school social workers do.

School Safety and School Social Work Practice

You are invited to complete a 10 minute survey on school safety and school social work practice in the United States. This survey will help us develop a better understanding of schools in which today’s school social workers practice. Please note that your involvement in this study is completely voluntary and all information you provide will remain strictly anonymous. Suicide Risk Assessment and Management Practices

You are also invited to contribute to a dissertation study which examines the suicide risk assessment and management practices among mental health practitioners.   This study is supervised by Dr. Mark Terjesen and the study is approved by the St. John’s University IRB.  This study will identify patterns in risk assessment and management practices and inform training needs at the graduate and continuing education level.   The study will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Please click here to be directed to the survey.  [Nora Gerardi, Doctoral Student in  School Psychology at St. John’s University]
