The New York State School Social Workers’ Association is pleased to partner with the School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA) to provide CEUs for the 20th National School Social Work Conferencesm which will be held in beautiful San Diego, CA beginning Wednesday, March 22 until Saturday, March 25, 2017. Although most sessions have been approved by NYSSSWA, please see SSWAA’s Conference Brochure which will note if a session is “Not approved for NY State CEUs”.
Payment:
Current NYSSSWA members will need to pay an additional $10 (a $15 savings) for processing your CEUs as part of your conference registration with SSWAA. Non-Members of NYSSSWA wishing to obtain approved CEUs will need to pay an additional $75 which will include a one year NYSSSWA membership ($75 value) as well as your CEU certificate ($25 value). If you are not currently a SSWAA member, as a NYSSSWA member you will also be able to receive a $25 discount off of your SSWAA membership/renewal. CEUs:
In order to receive CEUs, you must:
- Pay SSWAA fees for obtaining CEUs,
- Sign in and sign out of each NYSSSWA approved workshop/keynote presentation at the beginning and end of the session,
- Complete all the Workshop/Keynote Evaluations at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/K6KSSWAA2017 (DO NOT USE RESULTS AT HAND application.)
- Since all evaluations are linked for easier completion, have your list of attended workshops available to help you navigate through the forms.
Printing Certificates:
Instructions to access and print your certificates will be provided with your evaluation confirmation email. Please note: Certificates are released individually so will not be available prior to verification of all components is complete. Since this is a multi-step manual procedure coordinated with SSWAA, please allow up to 2- 3 weeks for processing.
